"Halloween Candy Buyback"

This Halloween was our third annual Halloween Candy Buy Back program. Trick-or-treaters brought their excess candy to Dr. Richardson and received $1 per pound for their candy. Dr. Richardson is leading this anti-decay movement by giving away dollars and glowing electric toothbrushes in exchange for cavity-provoking candy. We collected over six hundred pounds of candy, which was boxed and shipped to our Troops overseas. It was a great opportunity to get children involved in a charitable act to truly support our brothers and sisters risking their lives. The event was broadcast live on a local television station, and as a result, Dr. Richardson was nominated as Central Floridian’s Person of the Week by Brighthouse Network’s Channel 13!
